In 1967, a group of academic and business
people gathered to create an institution of the highest
education standards. IPADE. (Instituto Panamericano
de Alta Dirección de Empresa).
IPADE became later the promoter of an
undergraduate business school called the IPH. (Instituto
Panamericano de Humanidades), in 1968.
In 1978, the IPH was elevated to the
rank of university and took the name of Universidad
Panamericana.
At present, the University offers
the following majors:
- Administration and Finance - International
Business Administration - Business Administration and
Industrial Relations - Business Administration and Marketing
- Pedagogy - Accounting - Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering - Engineering - Law - Communication
